“Monitor & Merrimac Buidling” postcard, University of Washington AYP87

Behind the turreted facade of the Monitor & Merrimac exhibit, visitors experienced a re-creation the Civil War’s most famous sea battle. From an electrical control room, technicians operated moving ship models and sound and lighting effects in a multi-media show probably more elaborate than anything in this website.
